The Children and Young People’s Citizen’s Panel is made up of Children and Young People, aged 8 to 25, from across Cardiff who have agreed to give their views on a number of consultation topics throughout the year. Panel members share their views by completing surveys and occasionally taking part in other activities like focus groups, workshops, or forums.
By being part of these consultations you will be:
- Helping the decision makers in Cardiff Council and other services, such as the Health Board, Transportation and Education, across the city to make Cardiff a better place for children and young people to grow up in.
- Realising your right to be listened to under article 12 of the United Nation’s Convention of the Right’s of the Child (UNCRC).
- Helping Cardiff Youth Council to advocate for positive change and children’s rights across the city of Cardiff.
