Plan UK Social Action Grants – Cardiff Young Changemakers
Child Friendly Cardiff have partnered with Plan UK (Wales) to launch a social action grant scheme for young people aged 13-25. Up to £1,000 in grants are available for projects aiming to create a gender equal Cardiff.
A Young person assessment panel made of members from Cardiff Youth Council convened to assess the grant applications and discuss which project ideas they felt should receive the funding. It was an inspiring evening listening to project ideas led by young people who are passionate about improving circumstances in Cardiff.
